Marketing Executive

We’re looking for someone creative, self-starting, and organised to help take us to the next level. If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically, this could be a great opportunity for you!

 Scope of work includes:

  • Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns across the full marketing mix

  • Customer Relationship Management, including management of database, customer segmentation, targeting and content marketing

  • Social media campaign management and implementation, including content creation beyond copywriting, such as basic photography, video, social cards and slideshows

  • Public relations campaign management and implementation, including media and influencer relations

  • Writing copy for marketing collateral, including blogs, mailers, newsletters, emails, editorial, advertorial, e-Books, brochures, presentations and website

  • Event management and support, including research and booking, logistics, health and safety requirements, catering, hospitality, attendance and networking. Events would include Agritech, STEM, demo, customer, partner and networking events

  • Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur

  • Producing an accurate summary of total spend at the end of each month/a marketing campaign

  • Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met

  • Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting

  • Administrative support for the marketing function

    Requirements of the role:

  • The role would suit either an experienced/qualified graduate undertaking the role full-time, OR a highly experienced candidate (five years plus) wishing to do the role part-time

  • Qualifications:

    • Either minimum one year’s previous experience in a similar role (eg marketing, digital, PR, event management, journalism)

    • OR a graduate with a degree in Marketing/Communications/PR/ Digital

    • OR a CIM (or equivalent digital marketing/communications) qualification

  • Excellent writing skills; ideally also proven social media experience

  • Strong project management/ organisational skills

  • Willing to learn additional skills to support the role as required eg video, social media

  • Hours/days are flexible; there is an ongoing requirement to do at least three days a week at the Dean Hill Park office near Salisbury/ Southampton - (transport connections by train, on-site car parking available)

  • Reports to the Chief Marketing Officer
